Introduction - MicroMacro Discipleship

The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. Mark 4: 28-29

But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold. Mark 4: 20

Those who sow in tears shall harvest with shouts of joy. Psalms 126: 6

What is MicroMacro Discipleship

If we follow Jesus pattern of how He discipled His apostles then we know how Micro he worked as he used three years to live with his apostles that "Conversion" and "Transformation" happened. We can see how the harvest came according to Acts in a Macro way. Can you imagine how many is "a hundredfold"? If you add up 1 + 1= 2, 2+2=4, 4+4=8....then "a hundredfold" is 30 zeros after 1.

I am doing some research on what is the percentage of Christians having daily devotion and up to now the statistic is below 10%. I come into an awareness why churches nowaday can not experinece the Macro growth eventhough we have quite a number of mega churches. It is the Micro we have forgot that after the "blade" it withered and there is no "ear", no "grain" and no "Harvest".

Lots of people asked me what my strategy is when I become a Bishop on 9 September, 2009. After much prayers and fasting the Lord gives me this passage:

"We will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word." Acts 6: 4

There are 1,189 chapters in the whole Bible and I devote myself to share my Spiritual Journal of reading the whole Bible of one chapter a day starting 20 days before my Consecration, 9 September, 2009, for 1189 days. I do this hoping that I can encourage each one of you who read this block to have daily devotion so that an intimate relationship between you and Jesus can be established and that through this Micro "workout" Macro growth will come to extend His Kingdom.

I am also calling for a 40 days of 24 hours prayer 20 days before my Consecration and 20 days after. That is from August 20 to September 28, 2009. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one day a week and one hour that day to prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate and give me an e-mail ( BishopSilasNg@gmail.com) in a simple form somewhat like this:

Ignatius Ng, Richmond Emmanuel Church, any day from Sunday to Saturday, any hour from 12a.m. to 6a.m.

2. Participate in reading one chapter a day with me for 1,189 days to have a fresh beginning to read through the whole Bible and to receive fresh annointing from the Holy Spirit by doing so in one accord.

I am going to publish my block of the Daily Devotion on August 20, 2009 and the 24 hours name list will be published on August 15, 2009.

Emmanuel.

In Christ,
Silas
